Welcome to Free To Be Dog
A place for happy & well-trained dogs!

We are a Certified Fear Free Professional Training company headed by Applied Animal Behaviorist, Tiff Score.

We're on a mission to create a world where dogs and their owners can live in happiness and harmony.

We specialise in positive reinforcement training which means we use training methods that ensure your dog feels comfortable and safe. Our goal is to empower you with the skills and knowledge you need to create a positive and rewarding relationship with your dog.

Four Ways to Work With Us

Start here if you want to change your dog's existing behavior, especially those that are problematic or undesirable. This could involve addressing issues like aggression, fearfulness, excessive barking, or lunging on leash.

Behavior Modification

Start here if you want to to teach your dog or puppy specific behaviors such as sitting, staying, or walking on a leash. Private dog training can include basic manners and skills necessary for living harmoniously with humans.

Private Dog Training

Our group classes are held through the Southern Pines Parks & Recreation Department. You can register for classes on their website. Current class offerings include Basic Manners and an Intermediate/Advanced Class.

Group Training Classes

We support dog owners worldwide with our online dog training services. Separation Anxiety treatment, in particular, is always an online training service. No matter where you are, we are here to help!

What Free To Be Dog People Are Saying

"Free To Be Dog’s group classes helped transform my dog’s behavior. Most importantly, she [Tiff] taught me the significance of building a trust-based relationship with Rex [my dog]. I recommend the Free to Be Dog team if you are seeking a trainer who is passionate and highly qualified in their field."
